3. Demba Ba (as a backup)
Since Livepool play with two strikers up front, it’s better to have a decent backup striker (just in case any one of SAS gets injured). We feel Demba Ba fits the bit perfectly. It looks like Mourinho will be handed enough money to sign a major striker in the coming transfer market, which perhaps signals the end of Demba Ba’s career at Stamford Bridge. The former Newcastle striker has already fallen down the ranks in the Chelsea squad and would probably be sold in the summer. Newcastle might want to take their former striker back and so might Arsenal and Liverpool given his meagre fiscal ramification. But will Mourinho budge and sell to a direct rival? He did sell Mata to United so this is possible indeed.
