Manchester City’s hardworking midfielder might not be the name in everyone’s mouth, but he is certainly the kind of player Brendan Rodgers needs to stabilize his team in one side of the pitch. Players of Milner’s breed are hard to find. He is an allround player who can play in almost anywhere in the pitch. He is known for his amazing work-rate and ability to playmake from wings. But come at the end of the summer, he might want to leave to a club which gives him more game time and Anfield would just be the perfect destination.
