Three Promising Talents Who May End Up In England Next Season – Featuring Tottenham and Manchester United Targets

Share

Just few months left to the end of the season in the Premier League and teams will be eyeing on finishing the term on a strong note, while at the same time keeping an eye on the future. Plans for recruitment in the upcoming transfer window will well be underway as teams will be looking to improve themselves next season.

Youth talent is of prime importance to clubs and over the years we have seen some of the most promising budding footballers move to England to continue their development and progress. Ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window, we take a look at three of the most talented youngsters who could end up plying their trade in the English top division next season

Franck Kessie

The Ivory Coast international has developed into one of the most sought-after starlets in Europe having shone brilliantly for Italian side Atalanta this season.

The 20-year old has earned rave reviews for his excellent showings in the middle of the park, that has seen him score seven goals along with two assists for the Italian club. A powerhouse in the midfield, Kessie has been touted as the new Yaya Toure and has garnered interest from many giants across Europe with Juventus, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, all having been credited with an interest in the player.

The midfielder recently said in an interview that he dreams of playing for United one day, but wouldn’t turn down a move to Chelsea. Amid strong interests from the Blues and reports that United sent scouts to watch the Ivorian, we could very well see Kessie strutting his stuff at Stamford Bridge or Old Trafford next term.

Kessie is being targeted by Manchester United and Chelsea.

Moussa Dembele

The Celtic forward was heavily linked with a move to Chelsea in the winter transfer window and the Blues continue to maintain a strong interest in the Frenchman. And now amid reports that Manchester United have earmarked the 20-year old as the replacement for Wayne Rooney, we could very well see Dembele in England in the summer.

The former Fulham starlet has been excelling at Celtic Park following his summer transfer and has netted a whopping 29 goals in 42 appearances across all competitions and has further set up six more strikes for Brendan Rodgers’ side. The impact that he has had post his free transfer has been nothing short of brilliant and as a result has been able to attract suitors from across Europe.

Dembele, at 20, is one of the hottest young prospects in the game and it is highly unlikely that he will stay with Celtic if a big club comes calling and the club too will be forced into selling if they receive a sizeable bid for their star striker.

Celtic hotshot Dembele has attracted clubs from England.

Kylian Mbappe

The 18-year old Monaco attacker has been likened to French legend Thierry Henry and has been earning rave reviews for his highly impressive displays for the Principality outfit this season and hence he has been monitored by various English bigwigs.

Mbappe has been immense for the Ligue1 leaders having notched up a highly impressive 12 goals and 9 assists from just 26 appearances across all competitions. His speed and his dribbling abilities on the ball are truly reminiscent of the way Henry played in his young days and has rightly earned the comparison, given the impact that he has had.

North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have both been credited with an interest in the Frenchman and now, according to latest reports, Manchester City have made Mbappe their primary target for the upcoming summer window. Monaco will not be interested in selling Mbappe and are under no pressure to sell their prized asset. But with a huge amount of transfer fee that may be involved, we cannot rule this out for sure.

Mbappe is a target for Arsenal, Manchester City, and Tottenham.
