Premier League Budget XI featuring 3 Chelsea stars, 1 Arsenal target and others

Midfield and Attack

Midfielder: Morgan Schneiderlin (Arsenal target) – £1.5 million

Southampton were down in the lower divisions of England when they signed Schneiderlin from French club Strasbourg and even though they have come up to the Premier League, the French player has been a star for the Saints. His performances in midfield have caught the eye of Arsene Wenger amongst others but he has not been able to leave Southampton, yet. If he does, the Saints will surely make a huge profit on him.

Midfielder: Gylfi Sigurdsson – Swap deal Vorm + Davies

Initially signed from Hoffenheim for £6.8 million pounds, Gylfi displayed amazing talent at Swansea which helped him get a move to Tottenham but things didn’t work out for the Icelandic player and he is back at Swansea yet again, scoring goals for fun. This season, he return to Swansea while left back Davies and Goalkeeper Vorm went the other way, Swansea must be thanking their stars they got their talisman back.

Midfielder: Dusan Tadic – £10.9 million

One of the revelations of this season, Tadic was an unknown factor brought in by Saints manager Ronal Koeman but he has sparkled in his midfield/creative role and has been one of the major factors for Southampton sitting second in the Premier League. The former FC Twente midfielder certainly looks a class apart and is a steal for the price Southampton paid for him.

Forward: Saido Berahino – Free

A youth team player, Saido Berahino has been in exceptional form for West Bromwich Albion over the past 2 seasons. The striker has been called as the next young English talent to look out for and when clubs like Manchester United and Liverpool want to sign you, it is a good sign, the better sign for West Brom is that their youth system works and they can make a huge profit if they sell the England forward.

Forward: Graziano Pelle – £8 million (undisclosed)

Ronal Koeman does know his players from the Dutch Eredivisie; having already brought Dusan Tadic, the next player he brought in was Graziano Pelle from Feyenoord. Pelle and Tadic have formed a sort of mental connect and Pelle’s performances for Southampton have been so good that he has been called into the Italy national team for the Euro 2016 qualifiers.

Forward: Diafra Sakho – £3.5 million

Big Sam or Sam Allardyce likes his centre forwards to be big and strong, with the likes of Kevin Nolan and Andy Carroll at the club, it was no surprise that the Hammers went to sign the Senegalese striker and Sakho has paid that faith with a glut of goals, scoring 6 for the hammers so far, money well spent.

Total value of team : £57.8 million
