Bournemouth vs Wolves Predictions: Wolves line-up

Wolves are coming into this important mid-table Premier League fixture on the back of a disappointing 1-1 draw against Newcastle United at the Molineux. Thanks to a 90th-minute equaliser from centre-half Willy Boly that Wolves left the night with a point in the bag.

They now face a challenging trip to the Vitality stadium to face a struggling Bournemouth side who will be looking to bounce back from the demolition they received at the hands of league leaders Liverpool.

Team News

Wolves do not have too many major injury concerns at this moment in time. Diogo Jota suffered a dead leg last week and is still in the process of recovery. He could be a doubt for this fixture.

Matt Doherty

Star wing-back Matt Doherty is also a massive doubt as he picked up a knock which could keep him out of this important game as they look to maintain their grip over 7th place.

Probable Wolves XI

Formation: 3-4-1-2

Manager: Nuno Espírito Santo

GK – Rui Patricio

One of the low-key signings of the summer window, he has been a massive success story for Wolves this season.

RCB – Ryan Bennett

The former Norwich City defender has made 25 appearances for Nuno’s men this season and has featured consistently.

Conor Coady

CB – Conor Coady

A Liverpool academy product and the skipper of this talented side, he has been an absolute rock at the back for them this term.

LCB – Willy Boly

The Frenchman scored the late equaliser that snatched them a point against Newcaslte and is expected to start.

RWB – Ruben Vinagre

The 19-year-old Portuguese wing-back prodigy, Vonage has struggled to make his presence felt in the team because of Doherty’s immense form.

Ruben Neves

RCM – Ruben Neves

The former Porto star has been an inspired acquisition by Nuno and he has certainly added a different dimension to the Wolves attack.

LCM – Leander Dendoncker

The 23-year-old Belgian midfielder has been a revelation since breaking into the Wolves first-team and should keep his place.

LWB – Jonny Castro

This talented Spanish wing-back was signed from La Liga giants Atletico Madrid and his services have been put to good use this season.

CAM – Joao Moutinho

The Portuguese veteran adds a degree of composure to the Wolves midfield and his set-piece delivery is a massive boost as well.

LF – Ivan Cavaleiro

The former Monaco speedster hasn’t shown himself in the best light since joining but will be an asset to them in the future.
