Calum Chambers has probably been the best new comer out of all the new arrivals at Arsenal so far. Although Alexis Sanchez has come in at a close second place, it is the young English defender who has impressed most of the Arsenal fans since his summer move from Southampton.
From being the second choice defender at St. Mary’s to win the Community shield with Arsenal and being nominated as the club’s best player in his first month, Chambers has certainly come a long way for his age and thanks to his string of impressive performances, he has already received his first International cap.
A massive 34.8% of the Arsenal fans voted in favour of Chambers, while Sanchez came in at a close second with 33.4%. Last year’s player of the season, Aaron Ramsey came in at third with 17.2% of the votes.
