(Picture) Arsenal’s Injury List Will Shock You – Walcott Tops The Table

Thanks to 101gg, for bringing this to our eyes. French media outlet L’Equipe with the help from Physioroom.com, did a piece on Arsene Wenger’s injury woes at Arsenal and the graphic looks disturbing if you are an Arsenal fan.

Theo Walcott, who is on the verge of returning to the first team following an injury to his knee that kept him out of the game for almost nine months tops Arsenal’s injury table with 42 injuries since joining the club back in 2006. The English winger is closely followed by Abou Diaby with 40 injuries. Surprising to say the least!

It’s a shame that Walcott has missed out so much during the prime years of his development as a player. The winger has been one of Arsenal’s consistent performers when fit. The Gunners fans would be hoping that his return lifts the team.

Walcott played 45 minutes of the match at Boreham Wood for the Arsenal U21 team against Blackburn last Friday, easing himself back into competitive action after only returning to full training on Monday. Although he missed the Hull City game, expect the winger to make the bench against Anderlecht on Wednesday.
