Jurgen Klopp has plethora of options in the midfield currently and after telling Joe Allen that he cannot be promised a first team football, the Welsh international is set to leave Anfield in the summer.
However Jurgen Klopp knows the demand for the midfielder and has slapped a price tag of £14 million for him according to a report from Daily Mail. The 26 year old midfielder was signed from Swansea for only £8 million and while Swansea are interested, they will have to pay nearly double that amount to sign Allen from Liverpool. The price for the midfielders have increased significantly in the transfer market and Liverpool, aware of this trend, is looking to make maximum use of the opportunity.
Jurgen Klopp is a great manager, no doubt. If he can manage to sell Joe Allen for the said amount, he will prove himself as a great businessman and a negotiator too.
