Nouha Dicko To Start: Predicted 4-2-3-1 Hull City Lineup Leonid Slutsky Could Deploy Against Sheffield Wed

Predicted Hull City Line-up To Face Sheffield Wednesday In The Premier League

Things are looking bleak now at Hull with manager Leonid Slutsky cutting a more and more forlorn figure in the dugout, as well as at his press conferences.

His side are now six games without a win in the Championship and threw away a 2-goal lead against Bristol City, eventually losing the game 3-2.

Casting no aspersions on anyone; it’s usually the case that when a club is in turmoil, their treatment room is a lot fuller and in the Tigers’ case they will once again be without Greg Luer, Ryan Mason and Abel Hernandez, due to their long-term injuries, as well as Michael Dawson, Stephen Kingsley and Jon Toral.

Slutsky will most likely go with his favoured 4-2-3-1 formation for this, using these players from the start:

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Manager: Leonid Slutsky

GK – Allan McGregor

The former Rangers man must long for better days. For now though, he carries on in goal for Hull.

RB – Fikayo Tomori

The right-back should keep his place for this game but may have a torrid afternoon at Hillsborough.

CB – Ondrej Mazuch

How much do Hull wish they still had Curtis Davies in this position at the back? Nevertheless, Mazuch should start.

Michael Hector

CB – Michael Hector

Despite having been around a bit and being highly rated at one stage, Hector’s career is slightly stalling, though his nous will be needed in this encounter.

LB – Temitayo Aina

He’s no Andy Robertson of course, but he’ll need to be right on the ball against this Owls line-up.

CM – Sebastien Larsson

Although he still possesses quality, the problem with signing players who are going backwards in their career is that you have no idea how steep their backward steps may be, and Larsson is such a regressing player.

CM – Kevin Stewart

Brought in as Tom Huddlestone’s replacement but simply doesn’t possess the same skill level.

RW – Jarrod Bowen

The young man is a rare shining light in this set-up, scoring against at the weekend against Bristol City and he could be the one to make the difference for Hull.

Jackson Irvine

CAM – Markus Henriksen

Definitely has the ability and will need his shooting from the edge of the box or his final ball to be faultless when he plays against Wednesday.

LW – Jackson Irvine

Probably prefers playing further back if truth be known, or is at least more effective there. But he is a must for the Tigers.

ST – Nouha Dicko

Replaced Campbell last time and may be given a go from the start in this contest.
