Moyes To Make 1 Big Change – Strongest 3-4-2-1 West Ham United Line-Up To Face West Brom

Predicted West Ham United Line-up To Face West Bromwich Albion In The Premier League

West Ham United will look to jump out of the relegation zone when they take on fellow strugglers West Bromwich Albion at the London Olympic Stadium on Tuesday night.

The Hammers currently sit at 18th position in the Premier League table, with 18 points from 20 games, just a point below 17th-placed Crystal Palace, with a game in hand. Manager David Moyes will be hoping that his side bounce back from the 3-3 draw against Bournemouth on the Boxing Day with a win over Alan Pardew’s Baggies, who are just two points below them.

Team News

Captain Mark Noble is a doubt for the game due to a hamstring problem and will undergo a late fitness test. Winger Michail Antonio is a definite absentee for the East Londoners on Tuesday, along with Edimilson Fernandes, Sam Byram and Jose Fonte.

Here’s how Moyes might set his team out against West Brom at home:

Manager: David Moyes

Formation: 3-4-2-1

Adrian (GK)

The Spaniard has managed to push Joe Hart out of the starting XI in recent weeks and should keep his place between the sticks against the Baggies.

Winston Reid (CB)

After having been benched for the Bournemouth game, New Zealand international Winston Reid should come back to the starting XI.

Angelo Ogbonna (CB)

The former Juventus man will keep his place in the middle of the three-man backline for the Hammers on Tuesday.

Angelo Ogbonna

Aaron Cresswell (CB)

The Englishman has adapted well to playing on the left-hand side of the three-man defence. Should keep his spot in the playing XI.

Pablo Zabaleta (RWB)

The injury-enforced absence of Sam Byram means Moyes cannot rotate in this position and veteran defender Pablo Zabaleta will start against the Baggies.

Cheikhou Kouyate (CM)

The Senegalese midfielder is an important cog in the scheme of things for the East London outfit. A definite starter in the midfield.

Pedro Obiang (CM)

Partnering Kouyate in the middle of the park against the Baggies should be Pedro Obiang. The Spaniard will be making his 17th league appearance of the season.

Arthur Masuaku (LWB)

At left wing-back, it should be the 24-year-old Arthur Masuaku. Has two assists to his name so far this season and will look to add to that tally.

Marko Arnautovic

Andre Ayew (RAM)

The Ghanaian international has three goals to his name in the Premier League this term. Will be keen on improving those numbers.

Manuel Lanzini (LAM)

The Argentine’s creativity and eye for a goal will be key for the Hammers if they are to pull away from the bottom three.

Marko Arnautovic (CF)

The club-record signing has been in sensational form of late, having scored 5 goals in his 5 previous appearances. A definite starter at the top of the attack.
