But against all odds, Messi started the game this weekend against Real Betis and achieved the incredible record by scoring a brace in the 1-2 victory for Barcelona and finally managed to get to the 85th goal first (equalling Muller’s record) and eventually the 86th goal (beating that record) in the game.
