Manchester United Transfer Round Up: LvG Sacked, Ibrahimovic’s Deal Close And More

Louis Van Gaal has finally been sacked by the United board on Monday after a dismal season this time around. Jose Mourinho is set to replace the Dutchman at the Old Trafford.

Further Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be heading to United next season as the deal to bring in the Swede player is done. The player is set to be United’s assistant manager in future.

Mourinho is confident of bringing in Sporting Lisbon midfielder Joao Mario into United in the summer. The 23 year old player has been earlier linked with Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool in the last few weeks. Further United are ready to pay £10 million for West Ham’s young player Reece Oxford.

Reports suggest that United are looking out for Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford as a long term replacement for David De Gea. Further, Juventus forward Alvaro Morata is keen on joining United next season as Jose Mourinho is set to be the new boss. The feeling is mutual as Jose Mourinho too is looking forward to add the player into the Red Devils.
