Manchester United are gearing up for the next season, with Louis Van Gaal sacked on Monday and the new manager (Jose Mourinho) yet to be announced officially, United squad is set to undergo dramatic change by the end of the summer.

According to the Daily Star, Manchester United announcing Mourinho as the successor of LVG is delayed due to the clashing of their commercial obligations wherein Chevrolet sponsors United, Mourinho has a partnership with Jaguar.

The 53-year old Portuguese boss is determined to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic from Paris Saint Germain in the summer, which would see the Swede player earn £300,000-per-week including add-ons.

Cristiano Ronaldo can return to the Old Trafford if United are willing to pay his transfer fee of £80m. The player left United in 2009, however a reunion with Jose Mourinho may tempt him for the move back.

United are looking to sign Roma defender Kostas Manolas, who may cost the club €40m.
