Manchester United Officials Sent on a Transfer Mission to Portugal to Scout Three Players

According to reports now, Louis van Gaal’s side were amongst a list of clubs who had sent their officials to monitor the Champions League game on Tuesday night between FC Porto and Maccabi Tel Aviv. The game ended in a 2-0 win to the Portuguese side and it seems that the main target for Manchester United was most likely a Porto player.

A number of players have been linked with the Red Devils and 18-year-old Ruben Neves was one of them, who had a decent game. Further, 25-year-old winger Yacine Brahimi was also an option, among a long list of players potentially being monitored by the Dutchman’s side.

Next up was Bruno Martins-Indi, who has been a long-term target for his compatriot Van Gaal, who is desperate to strengthen his defence till date. The 23 year old superstar, is a left-footed central defender, who can play as left back as well and was picked by the United boss for the Dutch national side at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Well, whether the Premier League giants make an offer for their targets anytime soon or not remains to be seen, though they are surely keeping tabs on them.
