The Premier League giants were busy in Spain, after monitoring the game between Valencia and Malaga as well, on the previous day.

The report revealed that the Blues kept tabs on certain targets as Celta Vigo defeated Villarreal and were joined by their league rivals Liverpool, Aston Villa, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton. Though it was not confirmed whom Jose Mourinho’s side were keeping a check on, but these speculations related to the Spanish sides has been causing a bit of stir in Spain already this term.

Celta Vigo are at present second in Spain’s top flight, due to the superb partnership of Iago Aspas and Nolito, who have scored the majority of their goals. Further, Super Deportivo also added today that the west London side travelled to Valencia on Saturday, as Los Che beat Malaga 3-0.

It seems the ideal target there would have been Valencia forward Paco Alcacer, who was wanted by Mourinho, as he looks to strengthen his attack in the near future.
