Manchester United News: World Cup Winner Sends Cryptic Message About A Possible Transfer

Bastian Schweinsteiger could start on bench in his first official game for Manchester United

Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has recently posted a video that hints at his exit from Old Trafford this transfer window.

The ex-captain of Germany has recently announced retirement from international football after his participation in Euro 2016 and is believed to be on his way out of Manchester United as well.

Manchester United are on the verge of signing Paul Pogba from Juventus and will need to generate some extra revenue in order to cough up the £100 million needed to sign the French international. As a result Schweinsteiger is widely believed to be one that the Red Devils will dispose to get that extra cash.

Finances aside, the German has not been impressive in the United jersey as seen last season. His participation slowed down the game and tended to make United more sluggish. However, his message to the German fans says “see you soon” hints a possible move back to Germany. There are also news that some of the Serie A clubs are also interested in Schweinsteiger.

His video said “Hi guys, thank you very much for the birthday wishes and the positive comments I received about the national team career, I feel very honoured. I hope we’re going to see each other soon. Bye.”
