Manchester United look to sign €50m+ rated superstar termed the “next Zidane”

Clearly Italy’s Calciomercato are even more excited now about claims coming from ESPN about Manchester United looking to once again sign Lazio’s Felipe Anderson. The Premier League giants were being linked with a move for the 22-year-old superstar, a number of times previously and will now look to sign him this summer.

                                                                         Felipe Anderson

In May, it was being reported by Gazzetta dello Sport that the Red Devils had a €50m offer ready for their target, as manager Louis van Gaal was looking to strengthen his squad.

Also, Calciomercato say that the offer was rejected back then and if an offer were to be made now, it would surely have to be more than that.

The report from the Italian media outlet further added that the Manchester based side could return in the upcoming days with a renewed offer for the young Brazilian, but think Lazio will try their best to retain their star.

Though Calciomercato’s claims seem like an exaggeration to what ESPN had stated, with ESPN’s claims themselves seeming an exaggeration to the truth, Anderson’s move to England could surely be in the news till the window closes.

The United boss is keen on adding some high quality attackers to his squad and the former Santos star could surely be on his radar now. Here is a compilation of Anderson for Lazio
