Manchester United Could Beat Arsenal In The Race For £15 Million Rated Winger

United turn the screw over Wilfried Zaha

Another dejavu in sight for Arsenal fans this January as long term target, Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha is on the verge of completing a move to Manchester United. After losing out on players like Ramsey and Alex-Oxalade Chamberlian to Arsene Wenger, United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is poised to land his target this time around.

The Daily Mail says that Arsenal are being out-manoeuvred by Manchester United in the chase for Zaha.

The 20 year old youngster has been the next big thing across England for some time now. Almost all the big guns from England including Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham wants Zaha on-board. Rumour has it that United are ready to offer what it takes to secure the youngster’s signature and anything around £15m million should do the trick for them.

Talking about the youngster’s situation, Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway has claimed that there are no offers for the youngster yet, however admitted that if a huge sum is put forward in the deal, his hands will be tied.

“If it happens am I in control? Probably not. Is my chairman in control? Probably not. We’ll look at the deals, say, if there are deals but why worry about something that hasn’t happened?

“I’m sure the directors, who saved the club with their money, will have a say about how much they might want if it happens – is there a deal where we get him back as well? Who knows?

“I’m only concerned about my team and Wilf being a part of that team and playing as well as he did in our last game.

With the news circling around Emirates that contract rebel Walcott will extend his contract with the Gunners, the talk about Zaha coming to Arsenal have gone down which will only make things easier for United. Arsene Wenger who is known to groom youngsters into superstars is all set to miss out on this one.
