The sensational forward, who was named the player of the tournament at Euro 2016 and has become one of the most sought-after properties in European football in recent months, is being courted by several of the continent’s top clubs.

Griezmann has become one of the most in-demand strikers in the world thanks to his form in recent years, scoring 50 La Liga goals in 90 appearances for Atletico since his move from Real Sociedad. He has also been linked with a move away from the Vicente Calderon Stadium, with Premier League side Manchester United said to be eager to sign the 25-year-old. London club Chelsea are also one of the long-term admirers of the French star.

The January transfer window is now well and truly open but Griezmann is not contemplating a move. Speaking recently to the press, Griezmann asked not to question about his future, highlighting how other world class footballers are rarely asked about their next moves.

“I do not like this question,” Griezmann said.

“I do not like these kind of questions about my future because players like Cristiano, Messi or Bale are not asked about what is going to happen next year and where they will be or where they will play.” he explained.

“That’s why I do not like to be asked either. I am happy and enjoying life at Atletico, do not ask me more about my future. I am very happy at Atletico, I am proud to play for these fans, with these teammates, with this coach. I want to try to give back the trust and affection that has always been shown to me by the people of Atletico. I want to score goals and entertain people.” added the forward.

A move to Old Trafford would see the frontman link up with close friend and compatriot Paul Pogba, with whom he reached the Euro 2016 final in July. The 25-year-old would cost at least £60million, with Paris Saint-Germain among the other sides linked.
