Newcastle United target towards Montpellier defender Mapou Yanga Mbiwa is going to be in vain,as he is set to move AC Milan. The Italian club offered a whooping £5.1 million towards the defender.
The centre back has been previously linked with Borussia Dortmund, Magpies and Milan after the fact that Montpellier won the French Championship last season.
Sources say that Milan are set to beat their rivals in the deals towards 23 year old defender as he is to replace Thiago Silva, who has moved to Paris Saint Germain which made Mbiwa their top target.
