Lucas Leiva was delighted to return to first team action for Liverpool in their Preseason friendly against Toronto FC on Saturday.
The 25-year-old played the last 15 minutes of the game , this was his first time in the pitch for Liverpool after almost seven months in the Injury beds.
Lucas who will be hoping to regain his fitness and form back was very happy on returning , as he said:
”Very happy to be back playing with the RED shirt,” the Brazil international said on Twitter.Lucas is likely to get more minutes under his belt when Liverpool take on Roma in a pre-season friendly in Boston on Wednesday.
