Liverpool vs Watford prediction: Liverpool line-up
Table-toppers Liverpool welcome bottom-placed Watford in the Premier League match to be held at the Anfield on Saturday.
Liverpool are in sensational form as they remain unbeaten in their league campaign so far. However, Watford are in the worst of places as they remain rooted to the bottom of the table.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have been so dominant, having won 15 of their 16 league games. Watford, meanwhile, have managed to win just one game until now and looks set to exit the top-flight if the current trend continues.
The Reds will be entering the match full of confidence, having secured a Champions League knockout spot by overcoming Salzburg 2-0 during the midweek.
However, Watford’s new head coach Nigel Pearson has a hard task at hand in helping the Hornets climb the table and avoid relegation, which seems to be on the cards at the moment.
Team news
Centre-back Joel Matip and long-term absentee Nathaniel Clyne still remain ruled out due to respective injuries.
Brazilian midfielder Fabinho’s return from injury has not yet been announced and he will sit out against the Hornets. Adam Lallana is also a doubt as he is currently being assessed by the medical staff.
Meanwhile, Klopp is optimistic that Croatian defender Dejan Lovren, who injured his thigh in the game against Salzburg, could make the cut if pronounced fit ahead of the weekend clash.

The Brazilian has kept a clean sheet in his last two games for the Reds and would be looking to keep up the momentum.
Trent Alexander-Arnold (RB)
Despite being a full-back, he is his side’s top assist provider this season with 6 assists. The youngster is one of the best in the world in this role right now.
Joe Gomez (CB)
With Matip ruled out and Lovren still remaining a doubt, Gomez may get the nod. He was solid against Salzburg in their previous game.
Virgil van Dijk (CB)
One of the first names to appear in the teamsheet. A top defender, Van Dijk will take the responsibility of leading from the back.
Andrew Robertson (LB)
Another key player for the Reds, Robertson has been fantastic on the left as Arnold has been on the right. The Scotsman has also excelled with 5 assists.
Jordan Henderson (CDM)
With Fabinho injured, the Reds skipper could don the defensive midfielder’s role. A seasoned campaigner, he could easily gel into any midfield role.
Nabi Keita (RCM)
He has now started in back-to-back games and has made good use of the opportunity by scoring in both the games.
Georginio Wijnaldum (LCM)
A regular these days, Wijnaldum offers the much-needed creativity for Liverpool in the middle. The Dutchman also scores when necessary.
Mohamed Salah (RW)
Like most of the days, Salah was once again on the scoresheet against their Austrian opponents in the previous game and is sure to retain his spot along the right flank.

Divock Origi (ST)
The Belgian might get a chance given the Reds are playing against a lowly Watford unit. He has been effective whenever called up for a job.
