Liverpool are planning for an overhaul this summer, however, it is not an easy task to take up for manager Jurgen Klopp. With an equal amount of competition and the cash required to be considered, the Reds are looking to add certain players into their squad.
The Reds have been looking to add Dortmund player Ilkay Gundogan into their squad, however, they will be facing strong competition from Manchester City’s incoming manager Pep Guardiola who already opened talks with the Germany International. The player is valued at £25m by Dortmund. Guardiola is considering Gundogan as a replacement for Yaya Toure who is set to leave at the end of the season.
On the other hand, Mats Hummels has admitted that he may leave Dortmund in the summer so as to progress in his career. Hummels is also a Liverpool target and his statement of leaving the club has put the Reds in high alert mode. Further, Klopp is also looking out for Celtic teen Kieran Tierney.
