Liverpool Forward Daniel Sturridge has had a tough season so for. The player has had a brilliant scoring record during the season; however he struggled against his health. He has been unable to stay fit for most of the season and has put manager Jurgen Klopp doubts his ability to contribute in the Reds.
Sturridge has appeared in just five premier league matches this season due to injury and so far his presence in the showdown against Manchester City next month is uncertain. As after a hamstring injury the player has not started training outside. Now, the latest reports reveal that the player is desperate to come back just in time for the cup final.
When Sturridge is fit he is one of the best forwards in the field, so it can be understood if Jurgen Klopp is thinking twice before deciding the Club’s future with the player or vice versa. As such Liverpool were not able to score in the home matches against West Ham and Stoke City so it is clear that the club needs Sturridge back playing for them.
