Liverpool Deadline News: The Club Finally Set To Complete Transfer For Striker, Player Undergoing Medical; Sakho Set To Stay

Share

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has completed seven signings in this summer and many players from the squad have left as well. Now, according to the reports from the Daily Mail, their out of favour striker Mario Balotelli is currently ongoing his medical with the French club Nice.

The Italian international has been a scapegoat for the German manager and he has been clearly told that if he wants to pursue to the sport, he shall find another club. The 26-year-old has been training with the youth team this summer and according to the same source, the attacker threw a grand party for his friends in Manchester city centre on Monday night, in what seemed to be a grand farewell.

Balotelli, who joined the Reds back in 2014 for £16million has rejected so many offers this summer and besides that, many clubs have rejected the Italian as well, which includes Sassuolo.

The club’s chief executive Giovanni Carnevali told an Italian TV station: ‘[Agent, Mino] Raiola offered us Balotelli, but we refused.’

Furthermore, Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho is set to stay at Liverpool amidst the exit rumours from the past couple of days. The French international recently rejected a loan move to the Turkish side Besiktas and before that, he was also contacted by the fellow Premier League sides Stoke City and West Brom.

Sakho has been a victim of his own doings and has been training all by himself as the manager has stated him to find another club if he wants to continue his career, but it seems like the Frenchman is ready to fight for his place, even though, he will only be preferred after Lovren, Matip and Klavan.

Sakho rejected the offer from Stoke City and the reports also claimed that West Brom’s manager Tony Pulis was ready to offer Liverpool £20million for the defender, who cost Liverpool £18m when he arrived from Paris Saint-Germain three years ago, but again he had no ambition to go to The Hawthorns. Klopp still believe that Sakho has a future at Anfield, but in the current season, he do not really have many plans for the Frenchman.
