According to a report in Daily Star, Liverpool are contemplating on whether to make an offer for Juventus star Paulo Dybala. Jurgen Klopp is looking to add to the squad in the attacking midfield position, and the Argentina international is being tracked.
Despite his talent and attributes, Dybala hasn’t been a regular starter in Turin but has made a good impact off the bench. The 25-year-old is finding life difficult in Italy, hence, there is a chance that he could accept an offer from another big club (h/t Daily Star).
Dybala, who joined Juventus from Palermo in 2015, is rated around £100million, but that figure may come down given the fact that he hasn’t played much football this season (h/t Daily Star).
Real Madrid are long-term admirers of the player, while Manchester United have been linked with a move for the Argentine star (h/t Daily Star).
Here’s why Liverpool should beat everyone and make a swoop for Paulo Dybala in the summer:
We all know about the quality tha Liverpool possess in their front-line. Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah form a front three that is one of the most destructive in European football.
However, there is an over-dependency on them to create and score goals on a consistent basis. The midfield, in certain games, has been caught short when it comes to creating chances against deep-defending teams.
The three attackers cannot play the whole season by themselves without much backup. It is because the likes of Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge haven’t done enough to replace either of Firmino, Mane or Salah.
For that reason, getting a player who can play the number 10 role, create chances and simultaneously be a replacement for one of the front three could be ideal for Jurgen Klopp to work with.
This is where Paulo Dybala could be an effective addition to the squad. The Argentine has the ability to play that killer pass for the strikers and also replace one of them, as we have seen him play as a false nine or as a right winger along with the attacking midfield role.

Everything points towards a conclusion that Dybala would be a fantastic addition to the Liverpool squad. The Reds must make the move as early as possible in the summer and try to entice the Argentine to arrive at Anfield ahead of next season.
