Jack Harrison

The 22-year-old Englishman signed for the Whites on a season-long loan from Citizens.

Harrison is having a great time under Marcelo Bielsa, getting his name regularly called up for the side, despite being so young.

He has played a total of 36 games for the Championship side this season, across all competitions, bagging four goals and two assists.

In fact, all of the goals came at very crucial stages, most recently against Sheffield Wednesday.

He scored the only goal of the game, which decided the game.

Following the victory, Harrison spoke about his future at Elland Road. (h/t BBC Radio Leeds)

“This is a great club with a lot of history and it’s brilliant to be a part of it, but I think, as of right now, I should have to focus on doing what I can to help the team and make sure that we get promoted, and then we will see what happens this summer.”

Bleak future at Etihad Stadium

Despite creating a big impression in the championship, Harrison has said that he needs to improve in certain aspects to reach greater heights.

However, Pep Guardiola’s side is full of quality players and the chances aren’t great for the 22-year-old to grab a place in the playing 11.

Meanwhile, Leeds are primed to play in the Premier League next season, which could help Harrison develop.

After the victory against the Owls, LUFC have moved up to second in the Championship table, trailing Norwich City by four points.

Simultaneously, Sheffield United have been forced into 3rd place, owing to the draw against Millwall.

Leeds will play Wigan Athletic this Friday at Elland Road.
