Klopp To Make 4 Changes – Strongest 4-3-3 Liverpool Lineup To Face Bournemouth On Sunday

Predicted Liverpool Line-up To Face Bournemouth In The Premier League

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have now dropped 4 points in their last 2 games, as they were held to a 0-0 draw by West Bromwich Albion earlier this week. This draw meant that they could only climb up to 5th place in the points table, and are in dire need of a victory this weekend. However, they will face a tough task on their trip to the Vitality Stadium, which ended in an embarrassing defeat last season.

The Cherries come into the game on the back of a 1-0 loss at Old Trafford and will look to put in a better performance. But the Reds cannot afford to lose any more ground at the top of the table and Klopp will search for three crucial points.

Team News

The Reds are still without the first-team defensive duo Joel Matip and Nathaniel Clyne, who continue to remain unavailable. Alberto Moreno, Marko Grujic and Daniel Sturridge are also expected to miss this game due to injuries along with Emre Can, who is suspended due to the accumulation of yellow cards.

Keeper Simon Mignolet missed the midweek game with a strain but is expected to be back in the starting XI while Adam Lallana, who is yet to make a start coming back from injury, might make it to the bench.

Formation: 4-3-3

Manager: Jurgen Klopp

GK – Simon Mignolet

Missed the previous game with a niggle but is expected to be fit and be a part of the starting XI this weekend.

RB – Joe Gomez

The Englishman came off the bench for the last 10 minutes against the Baggies. He is expected to start this game at right-back.

CB – Dejan Lovren

With Matip out, Lovren has been used as the senior centre-back in recent games, to good effect. He is expected to keep his place in the backline yet again.

Dejan Lovren

CB – Ragnar Klavan

Klavan has also been solid at the back for Liverpool in the absence of Matip and up against the likes of Wilson and King, he will have his work cut out this weekend.

LB – Andrew Robertson

In the absence of Moreno, Robertson has been effective at left-back and there is no reason for Klopp to tinker with a system that is working well.

CDM – Jordan Henderson

With Emre Can out suspended, Henderson, who was rested for the mid-week game, is expected to be back in action, as the deepest of the midfielders for his side.

CM – Georginio Wijnaldum

The Dutch international was not at his best in the stalemate against West Brom but will hope to have a better outing this weekend against the Cherries.

CM – Philippe Coutinho

The Brazilian magician is top class and should start for Liverpool as they continue their hunt for a top-4 finish.

Philippe Coutinho

RW – Mohamed Salah

Was not at his best in front of goal against the Baggies but Salah has been the star man for Liverpool this season and will look to add to his goals tally.

LW – Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

With Mane looking out of sorts and probably needing a rest, Liverpool can call on Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has been impressive when coming off the bench this season.

ST – Roberto Firmino

The Brazilian did not have a productive outing against West Brom but up against the likes of Francis and Ake, he will fancy his chances of finding the back of the net.

Here is how Liverpool might line up:
