Predicted Liverpool Line-up To Face West Bromwich Albion In The Premier League

2017-18 football season is nearing its closure but an in-form Liverpool still have plenty to play for this term, with a Premier League top-four finish and an incredible Champions League title up for grabs.

They would be determined not to lose focus in the league games despite their crucial Champions League semifinal tie against AS Roma and now face rock-bottom West Brom, who had an incredible weekend following a stunning victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Probable Liverpool XI

Manager: Jurgen Klopp

Formation: 4-3-3

Loris Karius (GK)

The young German custodian has been in flying form recently and will be looking to retain the same until the end of the campaign.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (RB)

Has been a revelation as club’s new right-back and his performances in recent weeks have further strengthened his place for the upcoming fixtures.

Virgil van Dijk (CB)

The Dutchman has adapted well to Klopp’s system and is leading the backline with his towering presence and defensive resilience.

Ragnar Klavan (CB)

The Estonian has mostly been utilised in a sporadic role and was used in an unfamiliar left-back role against Everton a couple of weeks back. He was introduced late against Bournemouth following Dejan Lovren’s knock and is likely to start the West Brom game.

Alberto Moreno (LB)

Robertson’s scintillating run of form has not allowed Klopp to bring the Spaniard back in his starting XI and he missed out on an opportunity against Everton with a late injury. However, he might be recalled into action on Saturday afternoon as Klopp might prefer resting Robertson ahead of the crucial Champions League first-leg semi-final versus AS Roma.

Jordan Henderson (CDM)

The skipper has been a significant influence in the middle of the park and should continue his dominance in a destructive role.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (RCM)

The ex-Arsenal youngster is earning massive appreciation for his defensive work-rate, physicality and tireless runs in midfield.

Georginio Wijnaldum (LCM)

Delivered a decent performance in an unusual No.6 role at Manchester City in the crucial return leg tie of Champions League quarterfinal. He might not be as clinical as he was last season but he has made his presence known in Liverpool colours.

Mohamed Salah (RW)

The red-hot Egyptian has already netted 30 times in the league this term and is the clear frontrunner to win the Golden Boot, breaking several records. He will be the biggest threat to the West Brom backline on Saturday afternoon.

Mohamed Salah

Sadio Mane (LW)

The Senegalese sensation is back among the goals and looks ready to terrorise the opponent’s defensive line once more.

Roberto Firmino (ST)

The Brazilian has added a new dimension to the No.9 role under Jurgen Klopp as he is not only scoring goals but is also providing tremendous work-rate to track back, win possession and constitute counter-attacks.
