Predicted Bristol City line-up to face Preston in the Championship

Bristol City were beaten 3-2 by Reading last weekend and Lee Johnson’s men are now on the back of two consecutive losses. After making a superb start to their season, Bristol have now dropped into the bottom half of the table.

City will definitely aim to make amends when they come up against Preston in the league this weekend. Preston have been in poor form as well and a win would do a world of good for Lee Johnson.

Team News

Bristol City have no injury concerns at the moment and Lee Johnson can field his strongest side. The manager could make one or two changes given they are on the back of two losses.

Bristol City predicted XI

Manager: Lee Johnson

Formation: 4-4-2

Max O’Leary (GK)

The goalkeeper will be disappointed to see a number of goals go in the last few weeks and he will need to turn up for this one.

Jack Hunt (RB)

The English defender has looked good at times in the back but he needs to maintain more consistency.

Tomas Kalas (CB)

Kalas has been confident and solid at the back for Bristol this season. He should start this game as well.

Adam Webster (CB)

The 23-year-old has been an able partner to Kalas. But he needs to show more awareness and intensity.

Jay Dasilva (LB)

The youngster has made a name for himself under the manager and should now keep up his performances.

Josh Brownhill (RM)

The 22-year-old scored a goal last time out but it was in vain. He must aim to get on the scoresheet once again.

Josh Brownhill

Liam Walsh (RCM)

Walsh has been good with his distribution in the middle of the park but the youngster needs to be more efficient.

Marlon Pack (LCM)

Pack scored a superb goal last time out and looked impressive throughout the game. He will start this one as well.

Niclas Eliasson (LM)

The Swedish international has already got three assists to his name this season. His support has been very fruitful.

Andreas Weimann (ST)

Weimann will start this game after being used as a second-half substitute in the last one.
