Predicted Norwich City line-up to face Rotherham in the Championship

Norwich City host Rotherham at Carrow Road in the Championship on Saturday as they look to keep their place at the top of the table.

Daniel Farke’s Canaries are just a point above second-placed Leeds United, so a win would guarantee them the top spot at least for another week.

After a 0-0 draw with Hull City, Norwich City will look to put in an improved performance and bounce back to winning ways against Rotherham.

Team News

Louis Thompson remains out with a dislocated shoulder. Matt Jarvis and Carlton Morris remain sidelined with knee injuries.

Meanwhile, Moritz Leitner could be involved against Rotherham after missing out the last game with a calf injury.

Probable Norwich City XI

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Manager: Daniel Farke

Tim Krul (GK)

Krul is Norwich’s undisputed No.1 in goal and he should keep his place in the team against Rotherham.

Max Aarons (RB)

Aarons has nailed down his place in the team this season. He is surely going to start at right-back.

Christoph Zimmermann (CB)

Zimmermann is a solid, no-nonsense defender who will have to be at the top of his game to stop Rotherham from scoring.

Timm Klose (CB)

Klose has been a regular fixture in the Norwich team but he will look to put in a better performance against Rotherham after a shaky outing at Hull.

Jamal Lewis (LB)

Lewis is an attacking full-back who loves to surge forward and use his pace to terrorise the opposition. Should start.

Alex Tettey (CM)

Tettey brings a calming influence to the midfield. He will have to be at his best to nullify Rotherham’s attack.

Moritz Leitner (CM)

Leitner is expected to be fit and should walk straight back into the starting XI.

Emiliano Buendia (RW)

Buendia is in sparkling form for the Canaries and is a certain starter at the weekend.

Mario Vrancic (CAM)

Vrancic could come into the starting XI after Stiepermann’s poor outing against Hull.

Onel Hernandez (LW)

Hernandez’s dynamism and pace could be the key to unlock Rotherham’s defence on Saturday.

Pukki is on a hot goalscoring run at the moment for the Canaries. He is certain to lead Norwich’s line against Rotherham.
