[Image] Predicted 3-5-2 Tottenham XI to face Liverpool – Can Spurs hurt the Reds at Anfield?

Liverpool vs Tottenham predictions: Tottenham Line-up

Tottenham Hotspur have had a disastrous run in recent games, having won just one game in the last 5. Mauricio Pochettino’s men are now at the risk of losing out on the third spot, with rivals Arsenal just a point behind.

Spurs’ difficult run could continue as they travel to Liverpool for a blockbuster game on Sunday which could decide both teams’ fate for this season.

Eric Dier and Serge Aurier are likely to miss the weekend’s game due to a thigh problem. Harry Winks has a small chance of making it to the squad if he recovers from his hip strain.

Formation: 3-5-2

Manager: Mauricio Pochettino

Hugo Lloris (GK)

The skipper needs to be at his best to stop Liverpool’s lethal strike force and his experience at the back will be hugely important.

Toby Alderweireld (CB)

The 30-year-old has played 27 games for the North Londoners so far this season and should continue there on Sunday against Liverpool.

Davinson Sanchez (CB)

The Colombian has been a bit shaky in recent games but has enough quality to recover from the bad form and put in a top shift.

Jan Vertonghen (CB)

Vertonghen has to be at his absolute best as he will be facing Mo Salah on the left-hand side of the defence. Any slip-up from him will reduce Tottenham’s chances of a result massively.

Kieran Trippier (RB)

The 28-year-old was dropped against Southampton after a run of poor games. He should, however, return due to an injury to Aurier.

Moussa Sissoko (CM)

The Frenchman has surprisingly been one of Tottenham’s most consistent performers this season and he should start again on Sunday.

Christian Eriksen (CM)

The Dane has scored 5 goals and assisted 9 so far this season. His creative influence will be massive for Spurs if they are to get anything out of the game.

Dele Alli (CM)

The 22-year-old returned from injury against Southampton and provided an assist. He should be given a free role in the midfield on Sunday.

Son Heung-min (ST)

The Korean started on the bench after failing to score in three consecutive games. He should, however, return to the starting XI against Liverpool on Sunday.
