Predicted West Brom line-up to face Derby County in the Championship

Though West Brom were beaten by Wigan Athletic at the weekend, the Baggies have made a superb start under Darren Moore this time out. They are surely one of the early frontrunners to get promoted to the Premier League next season.

Moore’s men come up against Frank Lampard’s Derby County in the mid-week. Derby beat Sheffield United at the weekend and will now be aiming to collect more points.

Team News

Craig Dawson suffered a knock against Wigan Athletic and is a doubt for this game. Matt Phillips and Bakary Sako are also still out and will not be able to play this match. Jake Livermore is also unavailable for this game after picking up a red card last time out.

Probable West Brom XI

Manager: Darren Moore

Formation: 3-4-1-2

Sam Johnstone (GK)

One of the best performers for the Baggies this season. Johnstone will definitely retain his place in goal.

Ahmed Hegazi

Oluwatosin Adarabioyo (RCB)

The youngster will take the place of the injured Dawson. He has shown glimpses of his quality this season.

Ahmed Hegazi (CB)

Probably the only Baggies player who is capable of playing every single game this season.

Bartley has settled well into the squad and has looked good in a back-three.

Tyrone Mears (RM)

Mears will continue on the right-hand side with Matt Phillips still out injured.

Kieran Gibbs

Kieran Gibbs (LM)

One of the standout performers for the Baggies this season, Gibbs has been a revelation down the left flank. A sure starter.

Barnes is in superb form for the Baggies and Moore should definitely aim to sign the youngster on a permanent deal.

Jay Rodriguez (ST)

The striker failed to score in the last game and will be aiming to get back on the scoresheet in this one.
