Ibe to start, Wilson up front – Predicted 4-4-1-1 Bournemouth line-up to face Liverpool

Predicted Bournemouth Line-up To Face Liverpool In The Premier League

Bournemouth have had a remarkable run of late, getting two 2-2 draws in a row! Actual wins are looking a little more scarce as they have won just one of their last seven games, which is not a great record, even for a team that is in 11th place in the league.

Thankfully for Bournemouth, they do seem to be safe now, with the points total of 38 probably being enough to survive in the Premier League this season. One more win would absolutely guarantee safety but to win at Anfield, against a Liverpool side that is jubilant after a massive Champions League victory, will be a big ask.

Probable Bournemouth XI

Manager: Eddie Howe

Formation: 4-4-1-1

Asmir Begovic (GK)

The 30-year-old has had an average season for Bournemouth, not being in the best form of his life but still being stable enough to keep his starting place in the side. Made some good saves against Crystal Palace to keep his side in it.

Charlie Daniels (LB)

Daniels had an average game against Crystal Palace. He made a couple of good tackles and won a couple of his aerial duels but will have to do better against Liverpool.

Nathan Ake (CB)

Nathan Ake did not have the best of games against Crystal Palace. He didn’t make a single tackle, didn’t win a single aerial duel in the whole game, which is not impressive since two goals went past him. Will have to improve if Bournemouth are to keep Liverpool at bay.

Nathan Ake

Steve Cook (CB)

Cook was like the Jekyll to Ake’s Hyde last game, dominating in the centre-back position. He won five of his aerial challenges and tackled well too. He even got an assist for the Cherries to take his side to the 2-2 draw.

Simon Francis (RB)

The experienced right-back has looked solid for Bournemouth all season and did well against Crystal Palace. Looked very good defensively and will have to replicate the performance in order to keep Sadio Mane quiet.

Marc Pugh (LW)

The midfielder did alright for Bournemouth last game, however, he has no goals and no assists this season for the Cherries. Will need to improve on these stats in order to retain his position on the left.

Dan Gosling (CM)

Dan Gosling has become a mainstay in central midfield for Bournemouth this season. He has even chipped in with a couple of goals.

Lewis Cook (CM)

Lewis Cook has had a good season for Bournemouth and fully deserves his England call-up. Always hard working, he orchestrates the midfield for the Cherries.

Joshua King

Jordon Ibe (RW)

Ibe’s return to the squad should help Bournemouth to be more threatening on the attack. The tricky young winger has had a good season, with 2 goals and 6 assists to his name.

Josh King (AMC)

Josh King is a fantastic attacking talent and Bournemouth have done well to keep hold of him. One of the highest scoring Norwegians in the Premier League, he is incredibly creative and hard-working.

Callum Wilson (ST)

Callum Wilson has had a decent season for the Cherries but has to grab more than 7 goals next season if he is to become Bournemouth’s number one striker.
