Zaha in line to become another Nani ? Or is he much more than that ?

Manchester United’s January signing Wilfried Zaha admits that he had always wanted to go to Arsenal and that he is mad a Gooner. Signed by United during the winter transfer window, Zaha is currently playing with Crystal palace on loan to try and help them land a spot in the play-offs.

The winger was connected with Arsenal for a long time before being snatched by Sir Alex Ferguson who paid a hefty £15million to lure Crystal Palace into selling their youth prodigy.

Talking about Arsenal and his move to United, The winger told The Sun:

“It was always ArsenalArsenalArsenal,Arsenal in terms of where I could be going.

“I have always supported Arsenal. I did not expect United to come in but they did. Arsenal are a good team but United are one of the best in the world.”

He took the English media by a storm with his captivating performances around Christmas period last year and has been one of the highly rated youngsters in England ever since.  United fans will have a chance to look at him closely when he arrives at Old Trafford after the current season ends and he may start off things at United’s Pre-season friendlies in Asia.

This is not the first time that an Arsenal fan has opted to join Manchester United,  Chris Smalling did the exact thing two years ago when he left Fulham to join the Premier league Champions.

Will Arsenal regret not signing one of their ‘own’?
