Predicted Crystal Palace Lineup To Face Arsenal In The Premier League
Crystal Palace will travel to North London to face off against Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
Manager Roy Hodgson has managed to guide the Eagles away from the relegation zone. They currently sit in 12th position in the Premier League table with 25 points from 23 fixtures. Palace are undefeated in their last three league games, with their goalless draw against Manchester City followed by wins over Southampton and Burnley. They will be hoping to extend the streak with a positive result against the Gunners, who haven’t been in the best of forms of late.

Hodgson has a lengthy injury list, with the likes of Jeffrey Schlupp, Joel Ward, Mamadou Sakho and Andros Townsend are all ruled out of the game. Scott Dann and Jason Puncheon are also among the absentees, while Connor Wickham too is yet to return to full fitness. On-loan midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek is also a doubt.

Wayne Hennessey (GK)
The Welsh international is the preferred option between the sticks for Hodgson’s Palace. Unlikely to change on Saturday.
Timothy Fosu-Mensah (RB)
The loanee from Manchester United has been in impressive form in recent weeks. Will look to put in another strong display against Arsenal.
Martin Kelly (CB)
With Scott Dann and Mamadou Sakho both out, Martin Kelly might once again have to deputise in the centre-half position.
James Tomkins (CB)
Partnering Kelly in the heart of the defence should be former West Ham United defender, James Tomkins. Will look to keep the threat of Alexandre Lacazette at a minimum.
Patrick van Aanholt (LB)
On the left-hand side of the defence, it is Patrick van Aanholt who is likely to get the nod, with Jeffrey Schlupp on the sidelines.
Yohan Cabaye (CM)
The French midfielder did not start in the win over Burnley last weekend. Should return to the starting XI on Saturday.
Luka Milivojevic (CM)
A constant presence in the Palace line-up, Serbian midfielder Luka Milivojevic should once again assume duties as the deepest of the central midfielders.
Jairo Riedewald (CM)
The Dutchman has worked his way back into the scheme of things of late and could retain his place in the line-up for the game against the Gunners.
Wilfried Zaha (RW)
The Ivory Coast international will be Palace’s biggest threat going forward. He will have to be at his best for them to get away with a desirable result from the Emirates.
Christian Benteke (ST)
The big Belgian has struggled to score consistently in the ongoing campaign. Will be keen on making a strong contribution to his side.
Bakary Sako (LW)
The match winner in Palace’s win over Burnley, Bakary Sako should keep his place in the starting XI on the left-hand side of the attacking trident.
