Three ideal loan destinations for Everton starlet Mason Holgate
According to the Mirror, Everton defender Mason Holgate has been told he can go out on loan when the transfer window reopens in January. The centre-back has fallen way down the pecking order under Marco Silva this season and has made just 4 starts under the manager so far.
The arrival of Kurt Zouma and Yerry Mina have seen the youngster struggle for first-team football this season. Silva also possesses Phil Jagielka if needed and with Michael Keane leading the Toffees from the back, it’s clear that the manager has no need for the 22-year-old.
The youngster is also capable of playing at right-back but Seamus Coleman has returned to full fitness.

Fulham
The Cottagers are leaking goals from every nook and corner this season. Their latest battering came against Manchester United and the newcomers have now let in a total of 40 goals in just 16 games.
Fulham have conceded a record-breaking number of goals in the Premier League this season and surely need to shore things up at the back. With Claudio Ranieri now taking up the reins, things are expected to get a lot better.
The former Leicester City manager should definitely consider bringing in the Everton defender on a season-long loan deal.
Newcastle United
Rafa Benitez is growing increasingly frustrated with the results at Newcastle United this season. The Magpies were once again beaten by Wolves this last that saw defender DeAndre Yedlin get sent off as well.
Benitez has been unable to spend funds in the transfer market this season as well and bringing in Holgate on loan will be a very feasible move by the Tyneside club. The youngster is a diligent defender and will certainly provide more depth for the Spanish manager.
Cardiff City
The Bluebirds have also conceded a total of 30 goals in 16 games this season. Cardiff have looked better over the last few weeks but they are definitely going to need to tighten the screws at the back.
Sol Bamba and Sean Morrison have been their central defenders so far but Neil Warnock could do with some young talent in his squad. Holgate is energetic, loves to build from the back and is very strong in the air. Holgate is also versatile enough to raid down the wings for the Bluebirds.
