Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has refused to confirm that he will be extending his contract at Arsenal. Wenger is out of contract at the end of the 2016-17 season and will wait till the end to make a decision on his long term future at The Emirates. The French manager has had to handle a lot of criticism since the club has failed to take advantage of other team’s slip ups in the recent times and will have to wait another year for a major trophy. Speaking to Sky Sports, Wenger said “It’s not about me, it’s about the club. My role is just to serve the club as well as I can and after see where I stand and where the club is,” he continued. “I have to forget about myself even if people who want to create unrest don’t. I will continue to give my absolute best to do well next season and then after that, we’ll see.”
