Good News For Manchester United: Deal For Brazilian To Be Confirmed In The Upcoming Weeks

Fabinho to Manchester United?

French newspaper L’Equipe reported last Wednesday that Manchester United had decided to name Fabinho as their latest target, as they looked to add more quality to their defensive line. Louis van Gaal knows that his side are in need of yet another right-back and Antonio Valencia has been playing most of the season in that position, putting in some decent performances.

However, now the Dutch manager is looking to bring the AS Monaco defender to Old Trafford in order to strengthen his back-line.

Fabino was always likely to be linked with a European giant and now the Red Devils are looking to add him to their squad, as they are all set to make a comeback to Champions League football next season.

L’Equipe added that the Premier League side have prepared an offer of €14m for the Brazilian, but it was not mentioned whether the offer has already been made or will be made soon.

The latest edition of Le Parisien also gave an update explaining why Fabinho is one of the players that the Ligue 1 outfit might look to sell.

His agent is Jorge Mendes, who will look to complete a move as soon as possible with other big clubs including Manchester City, Valencia and Barcelona also interested in acquiring his services.

Interestingly, Le Parisien has stated that Monaco will accept €15m for their star player and a deal could be on the cards in the upcoming weeks, with Van Gaal looking to spend big yet again.
