Go For It David Moyes – This £11.7m Premier League Attacker Could Be An Ideal Signing For West Ham

Should David Moyes Bring Kevin Mirallas To West Ham United In January?

David Moyes is understood to be eager on bringing his former player Kevin Mirallas to West Ham. The duo spent time together when Moyes was in charge of Everton but the Toffees are now under the leadership of David Unsworth, which could see Mirallas leave in order to link up with his former boss.

The 30-year-old winger has fallen out of favour with Everton, making it very likely for him to be on the lookout for an exit. However, should West Ham make a move for him considering the fragile situation they are in right now?

If Moyes does approach Mirallas, he will have to be careful. The Hammers are not in the best of positions right now, and they need proven quality players who can work day in and day out to the best of their abilities. There is no doubt about Mirallas’ technical skills as he is easily one of the best. Some may argue that he might not be what West Ham need when going through a relegation scrap, but Mirallas can be extremely impressive under the right manager.

Of course, the fact that he has worked with Moyes before will only boost his chances. Moreover, West Ham could really enjoy a wide attacking player. They do need an experienced midfielder and considering Mirallas’ capabilities, he should be a valuable addition.

The £11.7m rated winger is understandably frustrated at Everton. He has featured twice since Koeman’s dismissal, and then he was infamously sent home from training. Even prior to that, Mirallas failed to establish himself as a regular. Things have not been the best for him at Goodison Park, and this move could be what he needs in order to hit the restart button and make a fresh attempt in a new environment.

In fact, it was Moyes who first signed Mirallas at Everton during his time, and he will be eager to bring him to the Olympic Stadium in January. The situation may seem murky but after the latest development, it seems unlikely that Unsworth might want Mirallas in his team. Things might change once they appoint a new manager but as of now, Goodison Park does not seem like the best place for him.

That said, Everton have a huge task at hand when it comes to finding a new manager. In a situation like this, it remains to be seen if they will be open to agreeing to a deal for Mirallas but the player will hope for an exit sometime soon.
