FPL Tips – 5 Must Have Players For Game Week 31: Featuring A Liverpool Attacker, A Tottenham Forward, And More

Share

Leicester City keep on taking the games as they come. A tough 1-0 win over Newcastle wasn’t achieved by a bit of Mahrez Magic or a Vardy goal but by Shinji Okazaki. The team are relentless and could well end up winning the Premier League crown.

Fantasy League players should by now have Mahrez and Vardy in their team, the Leicester side has been so great that Danny Drinkwater was even selected for the England side for a few friendlies.

With points being extremely hard to get in the latter stages of the season, here are five players who must be in your team in this weekend’s games.

  1. Romelu Lukaku
Romelu Lukaku

The big Belgian might be on the track to move to a bigger club but for now he is at Everton and his performance against Chelsea in the FA Cup will certainly keep him charged for the next game against Arsenal.

Lukaku would be relishing to go up against the likes of Koscielny and Mertesacker, who aren’t the most physical and in the form that he is at the moment, who can bet against him scoring a goal or two against Arsenal.

2. Odion Ighalo

The Watford striker was involved in yet another amazing game for the Hornets as they defeated the FA Cup holder’s Arsenal at the Emirates last weekend.

Ighalo has been special for the side all season and he should be in your team since the side play an inconsistent Stoke City at home.

3. Roberto Firmino

The Brazilian has been the Premier League’s most influential player since the turn of the year and he just seems to be doing the right things at the right time.

Firmino was on target against Manchester United last week and could well be the one player from Liverpool that seals the deal in the away game against Southampton. Roberto can’t stop scoring or assisting goals and he could well do that at St Mary’s on Sunday as well.

4. Harry Kane

Tottenham might not be on top of the league standings but Kane has been in brilliant touch in the league and could well score a few goals against Bournemouth at White Hart Lane.

Granted that the Cherries are in the form of their lives but Harry Kane could well be the difference between the two sides. He was on the score sheet against Aston Villa last time around and he could well score against Bournemouth as well.

5. Jermaine Defoe

Sunderland have been excellent under Sam Allardyce and this weekend they prepare themselves for the derby against Newcastle. The team that wins it could well end up being safe come the end of the season and the stakes would be running high in this clash.

Defoe has been the go to guy for Sunderland for a while now and he could well do the damage for Sunderland as they look to get another win in this battle on Sunday.
