Former Chelsea striker Terry Gibson believes that Leaving Real Madrid would be a foolish choice for Gareth Bale. He has warned the player that leaving Los Blancos for any other club would be a step down for him.
Bale was hit by some injury crisis in this season, but is now performing well. He has scored 19 goals for the club and has 13 assists in his 21 La Liga appearances this season.
“Ever since he joined the club, there has been talk of him coming back to the Premier League, but there is nowhere bigger than Real Madrid for Gareth Bale to be at,” Gibson told Sky Sports.
“They are one of the biggest clubs in world football. What a stage he has to play football alongside some of the best players in the world.
“Why would he want to leave? He’s not going to get more money anywhere else. It would be a step down if he joined another club.”
The Welsh International has 58 goals to his name in 120 appearances in all competition for the club.
