Jose Antonio Martin via The Sun stated that Spanish player Fernando Torres has an offer that would make him the world’s highest paid player. According to Torres’ agent the player has eight offers and one of them located at China which is ready to offer extremely high wages to the player that would lure him away from Spain.
Fernando Torres currently plays for Atletico Madrid on loan from Serie A club Milan, as a striker.
Torres’ agent has asked Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone to let him know early on if the club is extending Torres’ contract at Atletico so that the player can make his decision beforehand. According to Martin, Simeone and Torres must sit and discuss the contract and the players’ future at the club.
While Diego Simeone has an option to keep the player as a backup for their strikers since the transfer ban imposed on the club, however letting go of Torres in the summer will be the best decision for the club.
