Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 15 Preview

Share

Gameweek 15 has some of the big matches to look forward to, with City against Everton and Fulham playing the Spurs. The encounters between Arsenal and Swansea and Stoke playing West Brom also promise to be engrossing. These provide ample chance for the Fantasy Premier League managers to boost up their scores and improve their ranking. Manchester United plays Reading, which would definitely see most of the Fantasy Premier League managers make Van Persie the captain once more. Chelsea, under Benitez, would look to come back to winning ways and so will QPR under Redknapp, with both having relatively easy fixtures. Some of the main features of gameweek 15 are as follows.

Keep a check of injury and suspension list-

Bacary Sagna and Baines are both out with foot and hamstring injury respectively and would be out for this week’s matches. David Luiz of Chelsea is also out with a suspension until next weekend. Laurent Koescliny is also suffering a thigh injury and has practically no chance of playing. The other players who are just one card away from being handed an one match suspension are Michu, Suarez, Gutierrez and Reid of West Ham. At a time when the rotation has hit the peak with all the managers trying to provide some rest to their main players, it is the call of the day to have a squad full of first team players. So managers need to be aware of the non-playing players and try to avoid the inclusion of these players in their team.

Midfielders more consistent than strikers-

This season the midfielders are performing more consistently than the strikers. Bale, Cazorla, Fellaini and Michu are raking in the points for their owners in a regular manner whereas apart from Van Persie and Suarez, no other strikers are making impact in a steady manner. Tevez who was doing quite well both for his team and his owners, have been suddenly dropped from the starting eleven for the last two matches. So our suggestion would be to invest as much as possible on the big scoring midfielders as that would assure the managers accumulate a steady flow of points.

Norwich to be banked upon in defence-

Although Norwich have conceded two goals in the last two matches, their fixture assures that they can continue with their good show in defence. Although their goalie Ruddy is injured, still their defenders Garrido and Bassong are in much demand along with their midfielder Snodgrass. With the big priced defenders like Baines and Ivanovic failing to deliver, maybe it is time to give the low priced defenders to be given a chance. That way points for clean sheets can be achieved as well as large amount of money can be saved for utilisation in the midfield and forwards department.

Brendan Rodgers a hot property, so is Ba-

Last season he did wonders with Swansea, making them a hot favourite among Fantasy Premier League managers providing them with cheap, point-scoring options. This season he is doing the same with Liverpool. Who could have thought that a 12th ranked team would have three players that everyone in the fantasy premier league would want to lay their hands on? Raheem Sterling, Suarez and Jose Enrique are providing with ample chance for scoring and come in a very reasonable price. Quite lucrative fantasy premier league assets. With Ben Arfa ruled out with injury the only ray of hope for Newcastle at this moment is the form of Demba Ba. He has been scoring on a regular basis and it is not without any reason that he has been selected by 27.7% of the managers, making his price go up.
