Manchester United already have a stunning goal keeper in the name of David de Gea. Now, the Manchester side could well add another world class goalkeeper to their squad in the January transfer window reopens. According to reports from Madrid based Spanish media outlet MARCA, former Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes who is training with the Red Devils for the past two months is now eager to sign a contract with the Red Devils.
Valdes was expected to sign for French side Monaco last Summer but the French side backed away after the serious injury which side-lined the former Barca man for a long time now.
Should Valdes sign for United?, Yes only if Louis Van Gaal plans to use him as a backup to in-form David De Gea. There are few rumours about De Gea leaving United to sign for Real Madrid. However, it would be stupid from manager Louis Van Gaal if he allows De Gea to move in January as he single-handedly saved many games this season.
