It was not a long time ago that a lot of Liverpool faithful were led to believe that Jordan Rossiter would become the anchor of the club for years to come. However, the tide seems to have turned and Rossiter is set to leave his boyhood club for Rangers in the upcoming transfer window. Liverpool Echo has reported that both Rangers and Liverpool are keen on the deal, believed to be in the region of GBP 250K.
The competition in the middle of the park is heating up for the Reds especially given the number of central midfielders at the club and Klopp is expected to bring in a number of players. The deal will also benefit young Rossiter as it would afford him a good amount of playing time in the top flight of Scottish football. Liverpool, on the other hand would be keen to add a buy-back clause in the contract to ensure that should Rossiter become the player he promises to be, they can snap him up for a bargain.
