Done Deal: Arsenal Set To Confirm Deal For Star Defender

Spanish international Nacho Monreal would like to extend his contract with the Gunners as stated to the Marca.

The player moved to the Emirates in January 2013, however, had a tough start at the North London Club, as he had to adapt to the English football. However, after working hard over it Monreal played in most of the matches for the Gunners this season under Arsene Wenger.

In an interview with the Marca, the Spanish player stated about his time in Arsenal and stated that he would like to extend his contract after 2019, when his current contract with the Gunners expires. Although the extension post 2019 will surely depend upon what shape he is in as then he will be of 32-33 year of age and at that time what level of football he can provide too will be the main factor for his extension.
