According to Marca, Ronaldo earns €10m per season and Messi €10.5 m a season. Conca is just ahead of these two superstars earning a staggering €10.6 m a year in China. Guangzhou completed the transfer of Conca for around €4 m in the summer of 2011, the Chinese club are able to spend as much as their European counterparts because of the take over by Evergrande Real Estate Group last year with a net worth of $US443 million.
