Wenger Hints Sagna Exit

Wenger hinted that Arsenal right back Bacary Sagna may leave the North London club after making some critical comments about the club.

Wenger said in his pre-match interview (vs Southampton),

“I believe any player always had to defend the club he plays for.

“And if he is not completely happy with it, then he has to go else where. That is what I always say to everybody.”

“But I want Bacary to stay. We want to extend his contract. He has two years left, so his contract ends when he is 31. Of course, we cannot give him five years.”
