Do It Klopp: Liverpool Sending This Striker Out Of The Club On A Short Deal Would Be Ideal For All The Parties

Why Liverpool Should Let Dominic Solanke Join Swansea City On Loan To Benefit All Parties Involved

More often than not, young stars in the Premier League fail to shine through due to the ever-present set of dazzling superstars. We have seen it happen multiple times before with players who truly deserved more than what they were getting at their clubs. One such player is Liverpool’s Dominic Solanke.

The youngster completed a switch to join Liverpool from Chelsea over the summer for this very reason. The Blues have never been renowned for honing or providing chances to young stars and Solanke was yet another name on that list. He moved to Anfield in search of more playing time and better opportunities but unfortunately, he has found his chances limited under Jurgen Klopp as well.

In fact, he has appeared just 8 times for the club in all competitions and has made only a couple of starts. Having spent very little time on the field in a Liverpool jersey, it is hardly enough for a player who left his previous club due to a lack of playing time.

Perhaps, his playing position is the one to blame. Liverpool are currently boasting of players like Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah, Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mane – all of whom can play in various positions up front while also having a high-quality skill set. It is futile to even think of comparing Solanke to these players but how will he ever achieve the greater heights if he is restricted from playing?

At 20 years of age, this is the best time for Solanke to learn and develop his trade. From the very few displays we have seen so far, it is clear that the youngster possesses immense talent and skill – he just needs the right team to establish himself. Unfortunately, there seems to be very little chance of him being able to do so at Liverpool right now.

Despite their shortcomings in other departments, the Reds have proven quality players in their attack and have no need for a relatively inexperienced youngster like Solanke. Hence, a loan move to join Swansea City could be the ideal option for Solanke. Reports do suggest that a possible temporary deal might happen between the two clubs in January.

Having only scored 7 goals in the top flight so far, the Swans will welcome the idea of adding a talented forward like Solanke to the squad. Moreover, the former Chelsea man has worked with Tammy Abraham before and the duo could once again work their magic for the side battling against relegation.

Thus, it seems like all parties will be happy with this move. Solanke will receive regular first-team football, while Swansea will have better chances at surviving in the top-flight with a promising and lethal attacking recruit.
